2. Mexican Kitchen in Fremantle Western Australia
During our first day in Fremantle, we wandered around, wondering where to eat (as usual…). We eventually found a place called Mexican Kitchen. It was a truly old-fashioned venue, to say the least, but incredibly charming. As you might guess from the name, it served Mexican food, and being quite hungry, we ordered right away. After a short while, our food arrived, and oh my goodness, it was delicious! Moreover, you don’t have to worry about leaving hungry, as the portions were very generous. I can genuinely recommend this restaurant, great service and delicious food!
3. Fremantle Beach
A must on a hot summer day is, of course, to go to the beach! The best place to do that is Fremantle Beach, located just south of the Fremantle harbor. With calm and turquoise water, it’s a beach where you can easily spend a day.
4. Little Creatures Brewery in Fremantle Western Australia
If you’re a craft beer fan, this is the place to go! Even if you’re not the biggest beer enthusiast, it’s worth a visit. Little Creatures has become known throughout Australia, especially for its Pale Ale, which is their signature brew. I’ve tried it myself and can vouch that it’s amazingly good! Additionally, the brewery also offers fantastic wood-fired pizzas to accompany the beer.
It’s a good idea to book a table in advance because it’s such a popular place to hang out.
An absolutely essential stop in Fremantle, if I may say so. You can see their openings hours here.
