The short answer is YES! For being such a small island like Siargao in the Philippines, there are plenty of things to do, and you can easily spend a long time on the island and still not cover everything. Sometimes it can be challenging to know what to prioritize and which places are most worth visiting. Therefore, I have summarized 5 unique places on the island that you must experience. You can explore these in a week, and if you stay longer, there are, of course, more things to do.
1. Shaka Café Siargao Philippines
Not only does the island have many places to see, but there are also numerous dining spots. But if I have to choose one place you shouldn’t miss, the choice is easy, Shaka Café. Here, you’ll find the tastiest smoothie bowls I’ve ever had!

2. Island Hopping Siargao Philippines
Spend one of your days on a boat that takes you around the islands off Siargao. The islands you should visit are called Guyam, Daku, and Naked Island. I promise you a fantastic day!
3. Sugba Lagoon Siargao
Take a day trip to Sugba Lagoon located in Siargao, Philippines. Paddle a canoe or stand-up paddleboard in the calm waters. Jump from the trampoline or go snorkeling. Sugba Lagoon is truly magical.
4. Surf at Cloud 9
Cloud 9 has perfect surfing waves for beginners. Additionally, you can take a private lesson, and all the instructors are so kind and fun! Since the Philippines is very affordable, it’s worth trying surfing here! I don’t really like surfing, but it was a lot of fun with just the right-sized waves!
5. Rent a scooter and drive around in Siargao
Since Siargao is a very small island, it has only one road that takes you around the entire island. Along the way, there are some stops you can visit, such as the place you see in the picture where you can swing from a palm tree into the water.

Hi!
The food in the Philippines is generally amazing! We enjoyed many beachside dinners with freshly grilled fish, rice, mango, and the delicious Filipino soy sauce that I loved! When you go island hopping or on other adventures where food is included, the meals are just incredible in the Philippines!
