Ba Na Hills SunWorld
Ba Na Hills SunWorld is home to the famous “Golden Hands Bridge.” What we didn’t know when we took the cable car above the clouds was that they had built an entire fairytale world up in the mountains, and this turned out to be my favorite experience in all of Vietnam. There’s everything from fun rides to cultural statues to delicious food. Here is opening hours for Ba Na Hills.
Try all their different types of coffee on your trip to Vietnam
Vietnam’s food culture is, of course, something special, but what we didn’t know was that their coffee culture is also unique from the rest of the world. They use a different technique to make their coffee, called drip coffee, which makes the coffee very strong and flavorful. They then mix it with different things to create various coffee drinks. Try their iced coffee, coconut coffee, and egg coffee. SO GOOD!
Cu Chi Tunnels in Ho Chi Minh is a must when traveling to Vietnam
In 1957, the war between Vietnam and America began. During the war, the Vietnamese built tunnels underground to hide and survive. The tunnels are now a museum in Ho Chi Minh for the rest of the world to experience what it was like to live during that time. An important thing to learn more about when visiting Vietnam.
The Train Street in Hanoi
There’s a train track through the city of Hanoi. At one point, they’ve built cafes right where the train track is, so you can sit and have coffee right on the train tracks. Suddenly, they warn you to watch out because the train is coming.
The Beach in Nha Trang a must among the top 10 things Vietnam
Nha Trang’s beach is right next to the city and is very long and beautiful. The beachfront is also filled with good restaurants and bars, making Nha Trang’s beach perfect for perfect beach days.
Evening Boat Tour in Hoi An
Hoi An lights up in the evenings with thousands of colorful lanterns, making the city so beautiful. There’s a canal in the city, and in the evening, you can take a boat ride on it. It’s called the “wishing tour” as you get a candle to place in the canal to make a wish.
The Night Market in Hanoi is one of the most powerful markets in Vietnam
From Thursdays to Sundays, people set up their tents, and practically the whole of Hanoi turns into a market in the evenings. This market is called the “Old Quarter’s market.” Here, you can find bargains, eat, and stroll around. I love markets in Vietnam.
Here’s a link to different night markets to visit besides the “Old Quarter’s”: Night Markets in Hanoi
Markets in Ho Chi Minh – top 10 things Vietnam
The market in Ho Chi Minh was, in my opinion, the best for shopping. I found the clothes more modern, nice, and a bit cheaper. There’s also a food market outside with a variety of extremely delicious food.
My Son Temple outside Hoi An
It’s hard to understand how powerful it is to see ruins from a temple that is almost 2000 years old. Unfortunately, like many other things in Vietnam, part of it was destroyed during the war, but there are still many buildings left, and some are being restored.
