There is so much to see, do, and, not least, eat in Vietnam! Moreover, it is one of the cheapest destinations you can travel to in the world. If you are visiting the mainland, I have summarized all the places you should visit and all the experiences you should have while traveling between Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi. The journey takes about two weeks. If you stay longer than two weeks in Vietnam, a visa is required. The visa is easy to obtain and not super expensive, but two weeks are enough to see the most important parts of the mainland. Additionally, I would like to suggest that you can visit their paradise islands and enjoy beach life or go to “the true north” to see the beautiful rice fields.
If you are wondering about the easiest way to get around in Vietnam, I have written a separate post about it; you can read it here: How to have the perfect road trip in Vietnam
